Privacy Policy

1. Controller

Vetron, LLC (Delaware, USA) is responsible for your personal data. Contact: support@quitzyapp.com.

2. What we collect

• Account and contact data — your email address and any name you choose to give us.
• Onboarding answers — answers you give when you sign up, used to personalize the product.
• Purchase data — plan, amount, date and payment status. Card details are collected and processed by Stripe, not by us.
• Usage data — lesson progress and in-app activity: which screens and sessions you open, how far you read or listen, whether the app is installed on your home screen, reminders you turn on, and how you use the pages shown right after a purchase.
• Notes and messages — notes and reflections you write in a product, what you write to our support team, and what you write in any chat, AI or community feature.
• Feedback — answers you give when we ask how we can improve.
• Device and advertising data — IP address, browser, pages visited and cookie identifiers, including the Meta Pixel on our websites.

3. Why we use it

• To create your account, deliver the Services and personalize your plan (performance of a contract).
• To process payments, prevent fraud and meet tax and accounting duties (contract and legal obligation).
• To answer support requests and send service emails such as receipts, renewal notices, a check-in after you start, and occasional questions about your experience. Reply “stop” to any of these and we stop the non-essential ones.
• To send reminders you turn on. Reminders carry no text that reveals what the product is about.
• To understand how the Services are used and to improve them (legitimate interest). Authorized members of our team may read notes, messages and feedback you write in a product, only to support you and to improve the Services. They are never shared outside Vetron, sold, or used in advertising.
• To measure and improve our advertising, for example by sending Meta hashed (encrypted) contact details — your email when you sign up, and your email, name, postcode and country when you purchase — never your answers or what you buy beyond the plan (legitimate interest or consent, where required).

4. Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run the Services, under contracts that require them to protect your data:

• Payment processing — Stripe
• Hosting, database, login and security providers
• Email delivery providers
• AI service providers, for messages sent to AI features
• Advertising measurement — Meta Platforms
• Internal team notifications (for example, a messaging app that tells our team a sale happened). These contain only non-identifying details such as country, plan and amount — never your name, email, answers or notes.

We may also disclose data when required by law. We do not sell or rent personal data.

5. Sensitive topics

Our products deal with personal habits. Your answers, progress, notes and messages are kept private, are never shown to other users, and are never used in advertising content. Only authorized members of our team can access them, to support you and improve the Services. Where a product has a community, it is anonymous: use a nickname, not your real name.

6. International transfers

We and our providers operate in the United States and other countries. Where data leaves the EU/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep it

We keep account data while your account is active and for up to 24 months after it ends, and purchase records for as long as tax law requires. You can ask us to delete your data earlier.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR, UK GDPR and California law), you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent. Email support@quitzyapp.com; we answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and advertising cookies (Meta Pixel) to measure campaigns. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

10. Children

The Services are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

11. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable providers to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will notify you as the law requires.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
